Artist's Comments

I like how this turned out. I love doing space pieces, and I think this is the first space I really put a lot of effort into and took time to make.

I think I'm getting better and better so hopefully my next piece will be even better.

Excellent work with this piece.

I love your blue gas/particle clouds, something about them makes them look really great. Very three dimensional. How did you get them quite that way? +fav for that cloud effect alone almost. :o)

And then to augment those, you got some very nice cratering effects on your planetary textures, again would be curious how you got those down so well.

Only two things I'm not quite so sure on.. Not sure if I like the motion blurred light streaks or not.. Sort of yes, sort of no.. and the planet in the background with the blue/green texture looks sort of odd, very flat looking texture, at least relative to the other two.

But overall this piece is very good! Congrats on getting it done. :)

Any advice you could give on the techniques I asked about would be so very muchly appreciated, am working on a few pieces myself right now in the deep space area, and would love to know how you accomplished those things. :)

+fav!

Good stuff, i think you have done a good balanced scene, they dont always have to be "perfect" to everyone, just to you.
